Below, you can find answers to any questions you might have regarding your visit at Teatret Zeppelin. Please feel free to contact us if you can’t find the needed information.

FIND YOUR WAY

Teatret Zeppelin is located at Valdemarsgade 15 on a side street to Vesterbrogade. Look at the map.

PARKING

It can be difficult to find parking spaces in Copenhagen, so we advise all guests arriving by car to allocate enough time for parking at Vesterbro.
You must pay a parking charge in the area around Zeppelin. The charge is 11 DKK per hour between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. and 3 DKK per hour at night.
The nearest car park is located at Matthæusgade 46A. It is open all days from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The area offers a good bus, metro, and train service. Copenhagen Central Station and Enghave Station (and others) are within walking distance of the theatre. Bus 1A, 7A, 10, 23, and 71 all stop near the theatre.

It takes around 15 minutes to walk from Copenhagen Central Station to the theatre (see the walking route here). It is a 10 minutes’ walk from the new metro on Enghave Plads (see the walking route here).

Nearest bus stops:
Bus 10: Enghavevej
Bus 71: Kingosgade
Bus 1A and 23: Enghave Station
Bus 7A: Værnedamsvej

PREPARE YOUR CHILD

A visit to the theatre can be a big and possibly overwhelming experience. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly prepare your child before the visit. See a how-to-guide here.

AGE LIMIT

We kindly ask that you respect the age limit we have determined for each theatre play. There is a considered reasoning behind the determination of the limit. First and foremost, it is about making sure the children have a great encounter with the theatre world. Secondly, it is about giving the other guests a good experience and ensuring the actors reasonable working conditions without too many disturbances during the theatre play.

VISITING THE THEATRE WITH LITTLE CHILDREN

Unfortunately, the theatre doesn’t have a changing station. We have 2 bathrooms with 2 toilet stalls each.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Front of house opens an hour before start time during the weekend and half an hour before on weekdays. Announce your arrival at the counter in the foyer. Here, you can also buy a ticket if you have not already bought one. On the first floor, you will find a cloakroom for your coat. (The cloakroom is under supervision. Yet, the use of it is at your own risk).

Typically, the doors to the auditorium open a few minutes before start time. Wait for the staff to open the doors before entering. You can access the auditorium on the first floor by the cloakroom or on the second floor by the balcony.

Until the doors to the auditorium open, you may wait in the theatre’s café on the third floor, in the stairway or in the area to the left of the cloakroom. We will notify everyone when we open the doors.

START TIME

The theatre play starts exactly at the stated time. Arrive in good time and no later than 15 minutes before start time. When the theatre play has begun, you can no longer enter the auditorium. More info on this matter.

KAFÉEN

Teatret Zeppelin’s café is named Kaféen. It is located on the third floor of our charming theatre building. We have a selection of fizzy drinks, cocoa, tea, coffee, beer, and wine. If you have a sweet tooth, we offer both candy and chocolate. In Kaféen, you can pay in cash or with Mobilepay (no cards).

Food/beverages/sweets/snacks are not allowed in the auditorium.
